“River Valley Landscapes” Paintings by Jody Furch opens April 7

Fly Fishing, Worthington State Forest, NJ

Simons Fine Art Gallery presents “River Valley Landscapes” featuring original paintings by Jody Furch. A New Jersey native, avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman, Jody has been immersed in the glorious settings of the Delaware River Valley for most of his life. Since retiring from his professional career as an organic chemist, Jody has become a full-time artist, as painting has been his passion since childhood. His work has been featured on the cover of the ‘Mid-Atlantic Flyfishing” magazine (July 2009 and June 2011). His paintings have been exhibited in several prominent galleries and juried shows, winning awards along the way. Additionally, they have made their way into private collections in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania area. His style evokes a feeling as much as it represents a scene. His detailed landscapes will actually transport you to that captured moment as if you were losing yourself in the daydream of a place you were once gazing upon. Please join us for a Meet the Artist reception on Saturday, April 11 from 1-4pm. The show will be on exhibit April 7 through May 31. For more information call 215-249-9155.

Response has been exceedingly positive for the exhibit “Visions” on display at our Simons Fine Art Gallery in downtown Dublin. The original works by Bucks County artist Jas Szygiel have brought collectors and enthusiasts alike into our gallery, and several pieces have found a place into private collections both locally and in New England. Strong traditional technique combined with his unique interpretation of the local landscape has garnered Jas recognition and numerous awards in both regional and national competitions.

For the duration of the exhibit, viewers can enter our drawing for the opportunity to win a limited edition signed print by the artist titled: “Newtown Berries”, with the drawing being held at the end of May.

Simons Fine Art Gallery is thrilled to bring this exciting collection to art enthusiasts and collectors, and would like the public to enjoy the exhibit through the month of May during our normal business hours
